The children have now all had their final forest school session of the year where they all enjoyed toasting marshmallows and eating chocolate biscuits by a camp fire.
They have had an amazing time through the year, going off in their groups with Mrs Benwell and co.
A huge thank you to Mrs Benwell for being our outstanding minibus driver and forest school leader. Thank you!!
Today we had our first class assembly. We showed everyone our journey through Foundation Stage by the stories we have learned.
This week we are reading Michael Morpurgo’s ‘Where My Wellies Take Me.’
We were inspired to go on our very own welly walk, collecting natural art resources on the way. Once back at school we wrote about our welly walk and made our welly art.

As we have been learning all about journeys, we had our very own exciting journey day out.
We went by minibus to the train station, travelled by train to Leamington Spa and back, went by foot to the park for some lunch and a play, then travelled by foot again to the post office where we all bought our very own stamp to post a special letter home.
